STEP 1: NAIL PREPARATION FOR HEMA FREE BIAB™
- Disinfect your and your customer's hands with Klear Sanifiner
- Use a cuticle pusher, such as the TGB ProPrep to push back the cuticles before cutting away the excess with cuticle nippers, for removing cuticles the TGB ProNip cuticle nippers
- File the natural nails into the desired shape using a TGB nail file 220/240
- Gently buff nails with a TGB 100/180 Grit Buffer to remove any shine
- Dehydrate, degrease and clean the nail plate using Klear Velvet Scrub
STEP 2: FIRST BASE LAYER FOR THE HEMA-FREE BIAB™
- Apply an even layer of the GelBottle HEMA-Free Bond Base on the natural nail
- Cure for 99 seconds (make sure you use Low Heat Heat mode) in the TGB Light The Way Lamp **
If the client experiences a 'heat spike', remove the nails from the lamp. Lost seconds must be recovered, use the Low Heat mode again.
**TGB's Light The Way Lamp is specifically designed to cure The GelBottle BIAB products. We strongly advise against using other LED nail lamps to ensure quality and warranty.
STEP 3: APPLY FIRST HEMA FREE BIAB™ LAYER
- Apply a thin layer of TGB HEMA-Free BIAB™ and cure
- Apply a medium drop of TGB HEMA-Free BIAB™, spreading sideways and dragging away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build-up around the free edge and cuticle area.
- Close the free edge.
- Use a TGB Liner Brush to apply a thin layer of product around the cuticle and sidewalls, twisting the
- hand around to help create the apex.
- Curing with the TGB Light The Way Lamp ** in Low Heat mode for 99 seconds.
STEP 4: APPLY SECOND HEMA FREE BIAB™ LAYER
- Apply a second drop of TGB HEMA-Free BIAB™, repeating the above steps to perfect from texture to refinement.
- Apply another drop of HEMA-Free BIAB™ if the structure requires it and then cure
- Curing with the TGB Light The Way Lamp ** in Low Heat Mode for 99 seconds.

STEP 5: REFINING THE HEMA FREE BIAB™
- First remove the adhesive layer with Klear Don't Be Tacky, if you want to refine something along the free edge. Use a TGB file with grit 120/180.
- Polishing into shape can be done with a TGB 100/180 buffer, focusing on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge.
- Remove any dust with a dust brush.
STEP 6: TGB COLOUR OF TOPCOAT
- After refining, or if not needed, remove the sticky layer with Klear Don't Be Tacky before applying color or top coat. The tacky layer can cause pitting in the color or top coat if not removed.
- For a classic nude finish, apply one coat TGB HE M A-Free Glow Top Coat On.
- If the nails need to be finished with a TGB Gel Colour, follow the steps 'Applying TGB Gel Colour' after removing the sticky layer. Please note that TGB gel polish colours are not HEMA-free, so for a completely HEMA-free treatment do not use a TGB Gel Polish colour.
