How to use The GelBottle Freesia Studio Gel™:

Prep the nails:

Disinfect your own hands and those of your customer by using Klear Sanifiner. Use a cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles before trimming away excess skin with cuticle pushers or scissors. File the nails into shape with the GelBottle 220/240 Grit file. Gently polish the nails with a GelBottle 100/180 Grit Buffer to remove any shine. Dehydrate and clean the nail plate with Klear Velvet Scrub. Do not use Acton or other prep-and-wipe or scrub-fresh solutions. Klear Velvet scrub keeps the skin and cuticles velvety soft and well cleansed.

Base layer:

Apply a base coat of BIAB, All-in-1 BIAB, 2in1 Base Coat or Rubber Base and seal the free edge well. Cure for 60 seconds in the TGB Light the Way LED nail lamp. When using TGB Rubber Base, BIAB or All-in-one BIAB, cure for 99 seconds at low temperature to prevent heat spikes. The TGB lamp is specially designed to properly harden TGB products. We do not recommend the use of other types of lamps.

Nail art with The GelBottle Freesia Studio Gel™:

Take a small amount of Studio Gel on your nail art brush, a little goes a long way. Iron the brush directly into the product, stirring is not necessary. Start creating your design, Studio Gel can be applied over a TGB base coat, BIAB and All-in-one BIAB. For thin lines or small nail art projects, cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp, for best results we recommend using a GelBottle LED lamp. For a perfect application we recommend using TGB Nail Art Brushes, specifically one from the collection of TGB Liners and TGB Detail brushes. Once you have finished your nail art design and hardened in between, complete the look by applying a TGB top coat. This can be done with a GelBottle Extreme Shine Top Coat for high gloss or in matt with the GelBottle Matte Top Coat.

Full coverage with The GelBottle Freesia Studio Gel™:

Pick up a small amount of Studio Gel with the TGB Round 02 nail art brush and apply a thin layer to the nail. Cure for 60 seconds with an LED lamp, for best results we recommend using a GelBottle LED lamp. Apply a second thin coat of Studio Gel and cure again for 60 seconds (making sure to cure between coats). If the finish looks streaky, don't worry! Once you apply GelBottle Extreme Shine Top Coat, the coverage becomes more even and you get the perfect glossy finish.

The best advice for The GelBottle Freesia Studio Gel™:

For a perfect application we recommend using a clean nail art brush. Always clean a GelBottle nail art brush in the GelBottle Extreme Shine Top Coat and not in acetone or other brush cleaners. Smooth the brush through clean Extreme Shine Top Coat and gently wipe the hair with a clean cellulose swab. Keep the brush slightly damp and immediately put the cap on the brush. Always protect your nail art brushes from sunlight by keeping the cap on when not in use. Keep Studio Gel out of direct sunlight. Make sure the lid is securely on the jar when not in use.
